The Cuchara Valley Recreation Program has revived the Cuchara tradition of having an Art Show for all to enjoy. A nice gathering place for families and friends.
For decades the Cuchara Hermosa group sponsored the Hermosa Art Show starting in the 1950s. What a rich and wonderful history it had over the years.
Our new Cuchara Art Show is trying to honor and improve that tradition in the Cuchara Valley. This show is all about the artists, a celebration of artists! Our show will be held on the first full weekend in August each year.
The Cuchara Art Show is dedicated to area artists. Artists come showcase your work, with only 7% commission taken.
Community members — please come support local artists. You can buy, browse, connect, and learn at the Cuchara Art Show.
The Art Show is always the first weekend in August. The Art Show will kick on Friday evening at 7pm with Artist Talks and Quick Draw.
The general show will be open:
For dates this year, please visit our full summer schedule.

Remember, the items in the bins must be listed on your master Art Take-in sheets.
