  • Wildflower Pilgrammage

    July 16, 2026  10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Sorry, no lunch will be served on this session. I will lead my annual Wildflower Pilgrimage to learn about some of our beautiful and important wildflowers of this region. We will explore a high-altitude meadow, a lower and drier meadow and then along the beautiful Purgatorie River on the other side of Cuchara Pass. In past Pilgrimages we have found up to 70 different species of flowers. I will also attempt to get you excited about LICHEN, so you can have some fun by being able to add “I’ve taken a lichen to you!” to your conversation repertoire. 10:00-2:00
