Summer 2011: Bear to Blue to the Ridge
Who is excited about coming to Cuchara this summer!?
The Cuchara Valley Recreation Program has a big summer planned again this year.
We hope that you will join us at as many activities as you can handle!
Of course, we have several of our favorite hikes again on the schedule this summer. Added to our hike repertoire this summer, we have jazzed up things with several different activities. Join us for a History Day led by Vern and Betty Story, a picnic and sing along, a visit to see 200,000 bats fly out of their cave on a full moon evening, a wildflower "pilgrimage", and one our favorites, watching a sunset and then the stars coming out from Cordova Pass.
Thanks to a generous donation to our Bingo program, we have some new Bingo cards. We also bought new set of colorful numbers to call out at Bingo. Exciting news for the bingo caller in us all!
Remember, you can preregister for the 21st annual 4th of July Family Fun Run/Walk. Click on the "Race Information" link. The 2012 registration form can be printed out and mailed in.
